So i was approached via LinkedIn about a presale ICO. I decided something didnt seem right. The CEO was advertising he was a lawyer and pushed Harvard Law School on his profile. But hes only lived across the country in his entire time… so did some digging.
Apparently he doesnt have a law degree. He has a philosophy degree from a private college and took and online class from some online only “Harvard” papermill extension. One certification class with them and now telling people he went to Harvard law school so you should invest in his company. Obviously if someone is willing to lie about their education and try to use that to better their business this should be a red flag.
His ICO was interesting to me as it threw up the other red flags “worlds first decentralized” bullshit terms. When hes far from the first. And far from being the only one out there doing the same thing.
